The
firm Susan Phillips-Hungerford, Architect was established
in 1991, and is located in Peterborough, New Hampshire. Ms. Phillips-Hungerford
has over 25 years experience in the field, is a member of the
American
Institute of Architects (AIA), and is registered with
the
National
Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB),
a non-profit organization whose mission is to ensure that
architects are properly qualified for certification in the
states where they are registered. In addition to her practice,
she teaches at the
Boston
Architectural College in Boston, Massachusetts. Ms.
Phillips-Hungerford is registered in New Hampshire and
Massachusetts.
Her work experience covers
residential dwellings - including new builds and
additions - as well as restoration and renovation projects on
buildings up to 350 years old. Additionally, Ms.
Phillips-Hungerford designs for institutional and commercial
clients ranging from town
halls to dormitories to 30,000 square foot mixed-use commercial
buildings.
Ms. Phillips-Hungerford
prefers to work in a team environment with the client,
contractors, and other supporting consultants to ensure that
each project is managed efficiently and cost-effectively from
start to finish. She integrates environmentally sound and
innovative reuse practices
in each of her projects.
Ms. Phillips-Hungerford
received her Masters of Architecture from the
University of Colorado in 1987 and she graduated cum laude from
the University of Massachusetts in 1978, where she obtained her Bachelor
of Science in Environmental Design. Ms. Phillips-Hungerford also
studied abroad at the University of Copenhagen at the Royal
Danish School of Architecture.
